We had a great night last night at the So Last Century gig at the Bethnal Green Working Men’s club, with the Basement Orchestra and Black Forest Ghetto. It was a good opportunity for us to break out some of our livelier and funkier tunes. The rocking arrangement of Radiohead’s Bodysnatchers went down well. Thanks to all who came along.
Our next gig is at the Crypt of St Martin in the Fields on December 11th. We’ll be playing plenty of swinging Christmas tunes to get you in the festive mood. Tickets tend to sell out for this venue so we recommend booking ahead of time. You can get your tickets here.
If you play trombone and would enjoy rehearsing every Tuesday evening near King’s Cross, then we would love to hear from. We have room for a trombonist to join the band.
Ideally you would:
- Enjoy playing your trombone
- Enjoy playing your trombone in a big band setting
- Enjoy playing trombone in gigs
- Enjoy going to the pub after playing your trombone with a big band (both after rehearsals and gigs)
